- Collect all peas to unlock the exit
- Exit opens after all peas are collected
- Water: safe for ducks, swimmable
- Fox: patrols back and forth on land
- Hawk: flies back and forth, ignores terrain
- Gator: patrols through water only
- Wolf: chases Dan across land
- Key opens one lock
- Locked gate
- Pushable crate (fills water, covers spikes)
- Lay eggs (E/X): predators that eat one disappear
- Spike trap: instant defeat
- Ice: Dan slides until he leaves ice or hits an obstacle
- Cracked floor: collapses into a hole after Dan steps off
- Hole: Dan falls in and loses
- Arrows: Dan can only leave in the arrow direction
- Buttons open switch doors while held by Dan or a crate
